I sent in my entry for the geriatric hand-walking division of Tevis, but it turns out there is no such division! So I slept in this morning and am following the action online. Between naps.

I was just looking at the Cougar Rock photos from this year's Tevis. Next year I am going to set up a stand at the top and sell clean underwear to the riders. -

Justin Morgan Had a Horse is a movie about a horse named Figure who invented the Morgan horse breed. Figure was a little horse who was good at a lot of things. In this movie we learned that if you work hard you will get worked hard.

I too am good at many things. I probably inherited that from Figure. Figure is my great x16 grandfather! We have learned a lot about human training in the intervening generations that ensures that humans work harder than we do! -

The Black Stallion is the best movie. The Black is a heroic horse because he gets to do whatever he wants, which is to be wild and run around a lot.

I was once threatened with a Halloween costume where I would have had to wear a pantsuit. Someone came up with the idea of us horses doing a group Charlie's Angels costume, with me as Sabrina, Jigger as Jill, and Rupert as Kelly. Fortunately the prospect of sewing a large horse-sized pantsuit was an insurmountable hurdle, so it never happened (so no photos!). -

I have the same problem! When I am out on the pasture I can't decide if I should eat or roll. Luckily I am talented enough to do both at the same time. -
